Theme Update Not Working After Host Migration

We used a pre-built website theme after purchasing a new license and built the site and built it on a subdomain of the clients site as a dev environment, but when we migrated the site to the main domain we now can't update the theme and get this error.

PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature


The dev site was dev.tcilp.com

The main site is www.tcilp.com


Can you help with direction on what to do to get the site where it can get automatic updates?
