Cloning a page loses its content.

Hello, I am trying to translate my page but when I clone the content of the home page the new version loses sliders, images, etc.

I have tried the import / export functionality of the template but it doesn't work either.

I don't know what that could be because I have tried to clone the page via WPML, and various cloning plugins and the result is the same. I have also tried installing the page on other servers and it keeps failing exactly the same.

  • Hello,

Can you tell me what version of Betheme and WP do you have, please?

Please also check if the problem persists when you disable all plugins except WPML.

    Thanks

  • Hi! Thanks for your response.

    • WP Version  5.8.1

    BethemeVersión: 25.1.2

I'll try to deactivate all plugins to see that.

  • If the deactivating will not help, please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

  • Sorry, but you gave me access to the account with user privileges, and I cannot check anything now.

Can you change its privileges to administrator, please?

    Thanks

  • Sorry, now you have administrator access. If you need further information, don't hesitate to contact us.

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,

  • Can you tell me on what pages the import/export option does not work? Are there any steps to reproduce this issue?

I have created a new page, and I had no problems copying the builder content.

Notice that WPML's duplicate option works only for a Gutenberg, and the Muffin's Builder content needs to be added with the import/export option.

    Thanks

  • For example, is impossible export/import the home page. And if you do, when update the new content imported, the content shown on the page is less than the copied.

  • I noticed on your homepage an error in the console that prevents correctly importing/exporting content.

It is related to the mod_security enabled on your server. Please, check the following link, disable it, and check if the import/export option works correctly.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

We have implemented the measures that you have suggested to us and it has not had any effect. Speaking with our hosting provider 1and1 Ionos they tell us that this modification cannot be made in a shared hosting.

We need a workaround for this problem.

    Thanks!

  • Please, try to export the sections one by one by clicking on the three dots (right corner of section), copy section, and pasting it on the other page with paste before/after option or import field.

    Thanks

  • After copy/import this section the import system doesn't work correctly. I've tried to logout and loging two times and nothing happens since here.

    I've called the new page:

    In Spanish language.

    I await to your response.

    Thanks!!

  • Hi again!

    I've tried copying and pasting

The new section is correctly created. But it doesn't appear at all on the front page. Only a part of it.

I hope this information could help you on the diagnosis.

Thanks a lot for your help.

  • You do not have the required max input vars value on your server.

Please, contact your hosting provider, and ask to increase this value to at least 5000.

    Thanks

  • Before opening the incident I was managing this issue with the hosting provider and they told me that it is impossible to expand on a shared hosting.

  • In that case, I would recommend you change your hosting.

Low max input vars value case problems with saving and displaying content on the pages. Unfortunately, this does not lay on our side, and the hosting company should increase this value.

    Thanks
