Remove top bar above search icon

Is it possible to remove the top drop down bar, i.e. the bar with the arrow above the search icon: http://pvcmed.org/

Hi,

yes, it is possible of course. You can do this under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Extras section where "Sliding Top" option is.
