After following recommendations Builder still won't save edits

Suddenly BeBuilder won't save edits. After making edits on a post, I click "save draft" and appears to save as usual (shows "saving" and "saved" messages).

"Preview" does not show edit changes. "BePreview" does.

After exiting the page and re-entering, all new edits are gone.

If I Publish the page after saving and before exiting, edits do not show on front end and, after exiting post and re-entering, edits are gone.

I deactivated all plugins and cleared cache. Problem persists.

(Problem does not extend to content created in Gutenberg.)

All installed plugins are updated.

  • Hey,

Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

    Notice!

    Thanks

  • Are there any steps to reproduce this issue, or does it happen on a particular page?

I have created a new page, "Betheme support page", and all changes and modifications worked. I tried to exit the page, refresh it, add new content, delete the previous one, and all these operations were performed.

I did not want to interfere with your pages too much, so I only added white text to the contact page, and the change was also present.

Can you also check if this issue happens if you switch to another browser and/or on another device, please?

    Thanks

  • The problem persisted in other browsers.

I contacted Bluehost. They increased the php_value memory_limit to 1024M in the htaccess file. This seems to have resolved the issue ("file exhaustion" they labelled it) but I'll test further and report back with anything new. Thanks for your time and help.

  • Sorry. Not fixed. The memory increase did nothing.

At first, creating a new page or going in to edit, there doesn't seem to be a problem. The first save seems to work. Then everything described above occurs. Which happened today when I added elements to the support page you created. They didn't save.

    Next steps? And thank you.

  • I have checked that again, and I was able to add new content to the page I have created.

Did you try with another browser and device?

Please, open the browser console (F12), and check if you do not have any errors there.

    Thanks
