Is there a way for the thumbnail sizes to be increased to the max height, within the settings, without adjusting the css?

This could probably be achieved by writing a custom CSS code and placing it in Betheme -> Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS.

I adjusted the CSS inlines to stop it clashing with other max height coding.
So it is working as you wanted now?
