Advice for building a news/press section
I'm hoping someone has some advice on building a press section. I have not found a plugin that does everything I need but am open to suggestions.
I am trying Nooz, which I think essentially creates custom post types for News and Press Releases and adds them to the back end menu.
The issue is that they still use the Single Post template, with the title of the post in the header and some other aspects I'd like to change. But I only know how to change the Single Post page template by directly editing the
I would like to change the header and layout to match the rest of my pages, but only know how to do that by editing the single-post.php file directly.
Is there a better plugin (free or one-time-purchase), or a preferable way to change the single post template without editing the theme files?
