Revolution Slider not working in mobile or tablet
I have gone through all documented configuration checks for the revolutions slider to ensure that mobile devices are enabled by still my site doesn't show the slider on mobile or tablet devices. I just get a solid purple background.

Ive just confirmed that the slider doesn't work if i'm not logged into wordpress admin regardless of device - so not a device fault but seems to be some issue with wordpress admin
Ok I found the solution after digging around a bit. so here it is for anyone who's reading this.
Siteground installs a default plug-in called Siteground Optimizer: rather than just disabling this plugin I wanted to figure out which setting in the plug-in was causing the problem.
It was the below setting that needed disabling to fix the issue
SiteGround Optimizer> Frontend>Javascript>Defer Render block Javascript
Wo you can still get the optizmer benefits you just need to disable that one setting and your all good.
