Failure to connect to API server

I am encountering an issue concerning API server connection (error message retrieved in Wordpress backend, shown in the pic below). I have already configured the firewall and allow api.muffingroup.com to access the server but the error still persists. Any insights on what else could be done? Without it I can't verify my purchase hence install the theme. Thanks a lot.

    As you can read on the error message, your server blocks the connection.

    We do not handle server configuration, so, unfortunately, we are not able to help you with that.

    You should contact your server administrator in that case.
