Remove gradient background in custom code

We are using the betheme with the bemanicure2 template. We tried to embed the short code for the event calendar and Instagram. The background is striped with grey and white stripes (see screenshots). Besides, we can't remove the grey frame around the calendar and instagram feature.

It's only happening when using the short code. We already tried to remove the backgroud in the main css, but couldn't remove it. Can you help us to remove the stripes and the grey frame around the instagram block and calendar?
