Favicon not showing in browser tab
I'm trying to insert a favicon image, I tried two ways, first a file in size 32x32px with the extension as both .icon and .png, and it doesn't appear in my browser tab. In this case, I use Chrome, but I've also tested it in Firefox and Opera and nothing appears. How can I resolve this, any suggestions?

Please, use the following tool: Favicon Generator.
Generate a favicon with it, put it in your theme options, and check if it appears.

I did what you recommended, I generated the favicon.ico through the site you showed me, but even so now I can't even insert the image in my library because it says I don't have permission, since I already have a favicon.ico file in my library. library inserted days ago but this does not appear in the browser.
Error message: No permission to upload this type of file.
Please use Disable Real MIME Check plugin, and try to upload your favicon then.
