What you ask for requires file customization, which about Item Support Policy is not allowed. http://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy
So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact your web developer. Item Policy says:

due to the fact that this is my 40th purchase, I was hoping that someone would point me in right direction so that I wouldn't have to look through all the files in the template
If you want to add new shortcodes, you need to edit the theme-shortcodes.php, but creating a shortcode creator would require editing many more files and a lot of customization.
