Hover Box with local video link

I would like to use a hover box and link a local video there. If I link a Youtube video it works. If I link a local video (example: /wp-content/uploads/video/video.mp4 or https://domain.com/video/video.mp4) I get the message: The image could not be loaded. I want to use a play button and start a lightbox video when clicking. Or is that more elegant? It does not work with the element Video, because no Lightbox is available.

    Hello,

    Currently, there is no option to display self-hosted videos in lightbox.

    At the moment, you can only use videos from YT or Vimeo to display in lightbox.

    However, I have passed this to the dev team, and we will check if we can make that for self-hosted videos.
