Difficulty in updating, and/or verifying license

Hello! We contacted you via the themeforest contact page (as instructed by the BeTheme Dashboard -- see output below) but felt it might be more likely to get attention here.

We had a previously registered version of BeTheme. It had not been updated for multiple years (current installed version is 22.8.6). We recently tried to update to close some vulnerabilities (we've had recent malware issues) but the updates failed with the following output:

>Updating Theme Betheme (1/1)

>Downloading update from http://api.muffingroup.com/theme/download.php?code=[REDACTED]

>Unpacking the update…

>Installing the latest version…

>Theme update failed.

>An error occurred while updating Betheme: The package could not be installed. The package contains no files. saying the downloads were empty.

From your support site it appeared that this issue was related to a license problem.

We attempted to contact Envato support to find the full license code and username, but they could provide no information.

The original purchaser has since left our company and we could not find evidence of the original receipt.

We purchased a second license to attempt to bypass this issue, or to gain access to the support forum to get information about our previous license.

But now, when I attempt to deregister the theme in order to apply the new license, I receive the following error: "Referer domain is different than registered domain. Please contact us using contact form on our Themeforest profile page: https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup"

Now I wonder if the initial error was even related to the license code, or if the problem was something else from the start. Can you provide assistance with updating the theme so we can get our site back online?

Thank you!
