Remove margin/space between muffin column and main menu

I need to know what is the CSS code to remove the margin space that exists on different pages between the beginning of page content and the main menu.

I have the menu set to classic. I dont like the sub-header function included with betheme so i want to create my own using color background column in muffin builder. However i am getting a large empty space between the menu and the colum i created.

I want them to be flush with each other. Basically the same as it appears on the front page when you place a slider. There is not ugly empty space between menu and page.
