Changing the main menu text color

how do I change the text color on the menu and the background in the footer? I tried within the options but nothing changes. Thanks

to change these colors, please use below css:

#Top_bar .menu > li > a { color: #FFF !important; }
#Footer { background: #000 !important !important; }
