How to add a Child theme in Betheme

Hey,

I want to add some functions in the functions.php tab. I've that you need to add a child theme in your ftp server. I want to add custom fields (date picker and time picker) in the checkout page.

What are the steps to do so?

I already have access via a ftp explorer and can add files etc.
