I have created a menu and added a close button with the function "Close". This worked at first. But not after the last update. How can I restore the function?

This is not a standard construction, and it would require a custom JS to make it work.
We do not provide help with writing custom scripts, so you would have to contact your web developer instead.

2) The usual way to close the mega menu is to click again on the menu item or click beyond the mega menu area.
