Problem editing ancient BeTheme Wordpress website

I've recently revived an old Wordpress site running BeTheme's 'Child' theme: I built the site back in 2015. I tried to make some update edits, but even though it seemed that I could make the edits in the WP admin page, and save them, when I then refreshed the website page the changes were nowhere to be seen... I've tried clearing my browser cache, I've used three different browsers and yet each time my edits disappear! Oddly enough I noticed that I can successfully make (and save) edits to Posts, but not to Pages. I thought this indicated admin privilege issues, but I'm the only user of the site and am listed as an Administrator. I've run out of things to try - can anyone help?

    Hello,

    Please turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

    Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.

    Also, ensure that Betheme and WordPress are up-to-date.
