No more margin and padding in BeBuilder

Hey guys,

I have huge problems with your builder on 2 of our websites. The websites are online and look great live, but when I open the builder, every margin and padding is gone. When I make changes to the site, it deletes all padding and margin. Why that?

Thank you in advance and best regards

Benny

  • Hey,

Please send us the WordPress dashboard access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

  • Thank you. I just sent you the credentials. We are talking about 2 websites with the same problem here, as described in my message I sent through your contact form.

  • I did not want to interfere with your existing pages, so I created a copy of one of them on a base-gmbh.

I created a page named the "BeSupport test page". Modifications work properly on it, and margins and paddings remain untouched. Are there any particular steps I should proceed with, or does it happen on a particular page?

    Best regards

  • This happens to every page.

    For example:

    https://base-gmbh.com

The way it looks when its live:

the way when I open the same page in BeBuilder:

    ------------------------------

    Live Version from https://base-gmbh.com/linearmelder-system-lms/

    When opening in BeBuilder:

    -------------------------------

    Live Version from https://base-gmbh.com/unsere-dienstleistungen/

    When opening in BeBuilder:

    And so on.

The problem is as soon as I hit save on the BeBuilder, the page will look like in the Builder.

Thank you in advance for helping

  • The failure also occurs more heavy on your Test-Page:

    My live version:

The way it looks in you copy in BeBuilder:

  • Here is the margin, and it did not disappear:

This section simply does not have much padding/margins, and that is why it is close to other sections:

It was like that from the beginning.

  • And how about the main page here?

This is the live version with 60px padding top:

Here is the BeBuilder where the padding is gone:

Same here on the same page. Live Version:

When opening in BeBuilder, padding is gone:

  • I found the problem. Your mfn migrate Plugin is causing it. At our second website where we noticed the same issues, I rolled back to a backup where I didn't use your mfn migrate plugin. After using it and replacing the development-url with the real url, the BeBuilder removes the padding and margin. How do we solve this?

    Thanks and regards

  • Thanks for the clarification. We need to investigate it further, and we need access to FTP.

Please send it as you did with WP dashboard access, and remember to attach a link to this forum discussion.

    Best regards

  • Thank you. Mail has been sent.

  • Do you remember performing any particular actions before this issue happened?

We can see it but cannot replicate it, and without it, we are not able to find the root cause of this issue.

    Best regards

  • I used "Better Search Replace" at first and checked if anything works well after this. It all worked well and than I used the mfn migrate tool and did the same with that tool. I entered the old URL which is https://b3zlau.myrdbx.io and replaced it with https://base-gmbh.com and than the failure occured.

  • Do you have backups of these websites?

I consulted it with the dev team and restoring backup from before it happened is required. Another option is to restore revisions in BeBuilder. See this video tutorial:

    https://support.muffingroup.com/video-tutorials/how-to-manage-revisions-in-muffin-live-builder/

    Best regards

  • Is it okay for you when I restore the backup before it happened or do you need to do so? Because I am able to do so any time.

  • Yes, you can restore a backup right away.

    Best regards

  • It has now been restored to the point where the failure didn't occur and I haven't made any changes to the plugin. You can now login.

  • I installed a new, corrected version of our migrate tool and replaced the links. As I see, everything seems to be fine, and paddings remain untouched. Please check it out and confirm.

I could not log into elektrobehrendt.de, but you can download the plugin for that website here:

  • Hey guys,

the plugin doesn't replace all the URLs with the new one when I use it.

I used it multiple time to replace this URL:

    https://bazr0gt.myrdbx.io/

    With this URL:

    https://elektrobehrendt.de

Some of the buttons still keep the old URL. For example please check this site:

    https://elektrobehrendt.de/gewerke/elektroinstallationen/

And look into this box at the button "Kontakt aufnehmen", there'll you find the old URL which I tried to replace. This happens to a couple of links on other sites in the same installation too.

    Thanks for checking.

    Best regards

  • The login credentials to that website you sent before do not work anymore.

    Can you resend them, please?

    Thanks

  • The login credentials you already have got work again.

    Thank you and best regards

    Benny

  • Sorry, there has been a mistake.

I just sent you the recent credentials via themeforest.

Can you be so kind and delete the picture from your last post in this conversation, as it shows the login url for public.

    Thanks and regards

    Benny

  • We have received your private message, and checking what is wrong.

It seems to be related to nested wraps. I will let you know as soon as we ensure that and correct it.

    Best regards

  • Thank you.

When you've found the problem, please let me know how to solve it, as it occured in one of our other websites also.

    Best regards

    Benny

  • Sure thing.

FYI we are still working on it.

I was logged out and wanted to log in again, but the credentials stopped working:

I could not finish fixing it on your website because of that. Anyway, we managed to complete corrected version of our plugin. Please install it, and check if the problem persits:

    Best regards

  • Hi,

thanks a lot for fixing. I am going to try this today and will get back to you.

The screenshot shows, that you tried to use the username "Test". This username doesn't exist and doesn't belong to the credentials I've sent you. That's why the access was denied.

Could you do me a favor and please remove the screenshot again as it shows the login-url.

    Thanks and best regards

  • It's working! Thanks again!

  • You are right; I used the wrong credentials. Probably I looked at the wrong place.

Also, sorry for sharing the screenshot again.

Anyway, I am glad that it worked, and we were able to help.

    Best regards
