Issue with Blog Page Not Editable in Elementor (BeTheme)
Hello,
I’m facing an issue with my blog landing page in BeTheme. I need this page to be in Elementor, but when I install and try to edit it, I notice that the Elementor option is missing, and only BeBuilder is available.
My usual workflow is to export pages with Elementor and re-import them, which works fine for other pages and sections. However, the blog page is the only one that doesn’t have the Elementor option.
I also tried importing the page using BeTheme Builder via a link, but the import fails as well.
Is this a technical issue, or is there a specific setting I need to change? How can I fix this?
Ideally, I need this page to be in Elementor, like the rest of my site, so I can export and re-import it easily.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
David

Hi,
Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot showing your issue.
Thanks
Hi, below is a short video that I forgot to post when I opened the issue: https://www.loom.com/share/6cb98b3dbc194bc7aa02a3bfdec3b93d
Our temporary domain is: https://davidw672.sg-host.com/
That is how Elementor works. It was never possible to edit a blog page with Elementor.
The only option to use Elemntor to modify the blog archive is to use Elementor Pro and its templates.
What you see in the Dietitian demo is a layout selectable through Betheme -> Theme options -> Blog & Portfolio -> Blog.

Thanks for your response. I understand now. I was able to copy the settings from the Dietitian demo in BeTheme → Theme Options → Blog & Portfolio → Blog settings.
How can I add the sidebar like in the demo?
1) Please see the following video tutorial:

2) And check the this article:

Thanks. The first video shows how to install a widget using the old WordPress widget system, which is quite basic. But what about the background design and colors of that widget? Will those be included in BeTheme? Is there no way to export the design from the other website?
The basics of creation have not changed since that video. In theme options, add a sidebar and add widgets to it through Appearance -> Widgets.
Designs of the widgets are mostly pre-defined. Only some colors are taken from Theme options -> Colors. So if you want to modify the design you should write a custom CSS code.
