I've attached two photos. One shows the actual footer currently live on my website, and the other shows what I see when I try to edit it. I'm not sure when this issue started—initially, I was able to edit the footer without any problems.

Now, whenever I try to edit it, the editor only displays 1 out of the 3 wraps and just 1 section out of the 3. If I make any changes and save, the footer updates with only that one visible section, and I lose the other 2 sections completely.

What should I do to fix this?

  • Hi,

Please always attach a link to your website so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost), then our help will be limited. You will have to contact us when the page is online. Also, please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us with the link.

Before that please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to the parent, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • Sorry, the website is : eden.ge

  • I tried to deactivate all plugins & activate main theme instead of child , also cleared cache but the problem still persists

  • Please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately through the contact form, which is on the right side at https://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason.

  • We tested your footer, and it seems that ModSecurity on your server is probably the root cause.

Something in the first Icon Box is being detected by ModSecurity and breaks the whole Footer. When we copied your footer into our environment, everything worked properly.

Please contact your hosting provider and ask them to disable ModSecurity and check if the problem persists.

    Best regards

  • Unfortunetly they wrote me this :( is there any other solution?

  • Then maybe some particular functions can be disabled or temporarily disabled to find the culprit?

    Best regards

  • I dont understand, there can't be the issue with the hosting because i have 2nd website and BeTheme works perfectly there, footer has no problem at all.

Please i really need to publish website soon, can you helping fixing this bug?

  • If icon is causing the problem can we just change the icon itself?

  • I think you misunderstood me a little. The root cause is not the icon itself but some part of the whole Icon Box element. I say some because we do not handle server configuration and ModSecurity, and do not know what exactly might be the root cause. As I mentioned earlier, we copied your entire footer to our environment, and it works completely fine, which proves that something on the server is the culprit.

That is why you should be in touch with your hosting provider to find out which part breaks the entire layout exactly.

    Best regards
