Button text customization not working

I tried to create a full-width button on a website I'm working on - the button should also have a small picture with a text (bigger, so Heading 1) next to it. I tried to do this simply by pasting the HTML code into the button description (using the img and h1 tags), which worked the first time. Then after adjusting a couple of elements, the button simply stopped displaying the image as well as the heading - replaced by the placeholder text.
I can make a regular button caption without changing the text at all, but I need the button to feature the image and also need the text to be the size of my defined Heading 1. Is this a bug (since pasting a HTML code into the button caption field worked at first)? I have updated the theme today as well, after noticing it's outdated. Or is there any other workaround?

please send us url to page where you tried to build this button so we can have a look on it. To be honest we did never tested anything like that so we are not sure if it is possible or not.
