Hello,

I use a template for the blog archive and i encounter 2 problems.

1) Where can i change the excerpt length? Because I use a template it is not automatically generated. I have therefore placed a text with the summary in the gutenburg editer. So when i place 10 words of 100 words, it shows 10 or 100 words as excerpt. I need it al to be the same, lets say 20 words.

2) I have the Read more option on, but it is not showing.

    3) And I was wondering if there is an option to get the posts to be equal height.

    Hi,

    Instead of using Blog element, open Pre-built sections tab, and choose one of the templates:

    Then put the excerpt into the heading element, and under the style tab use the Line clamp option:

    Many of these templates already have a Read more button, but you can add it manually:

    With the template, you can also set min-height to have posts in equal height:

    I'm trying to do the same with the portfolio page. Now the theme came with an update and I installed it.

    After the update, the theme options no longer indicate that the blog and portfolio use a template. See the images.

    The blog page neatly picks up the template, but the portfolio page again uses the settings in the theme options.

    I'm i doing something wrong?

    You did not have a Portfolio page assigned in the theme options:

    After setting it, the template shows correctly.

    I selected the correct page, there it works. But it still doesn't work for the category pages.


    And on the overview page of the portfolio items it shows 2 differtent overviews. 1 is from the template i made, the other...??
