Query Loops and Wraps

I'm sure i've overlooked something but this can't be a one-off problem. I have a layout, 2/3 column next to a 1/3 column. in the 1/3 column i have a query loop for posts. Works great. I want to add a Column Header to the 1/3 column. I can't add a wrap to that 1/3 column. you can't put query loops in a nested wrap. So, please help me understand, or maybe there is a simple fix, to put a headline above the 1/3 column query loop.
