start animation when in view

in Revolution Slider
is it possible to start the animation of a slider only when the slider is in view? This is not for a header slider but sliders further on the page to show portfolio items. Each portfolio image is one slider.

These sliders have a transparent slide. that slide has an image slide that has a animation (long from left, power3.easln)

it it possible to start the long from left only when you can actually see the slider/animation?

ps I have tried to do it another way using custom js but that didn't work and I don't know to much about js
