Custom CSS Is Being Deleted
Hello,
I am having an issue with adding custom CSS to the BeTheme's custom CSS (I am using the Child Theme). I had custom code there already (Always went in fine with no problems on all of the websites) & when I went to add an additional line of CSS, I clicked UPDATE & when the page refreshed, ALL of the custom code was gone! We have the BeTheme installed (and activated - Child Theme) on over a dozen websites & I went to a different website we have & tried to add a line of CSS code & the exact same thing happened, all the current CSS was deleted when I clicked update.
I tried disabling ALL of the plugins and added the CSS again. Same result. The BeTheme is updated to the most recent version 28.2.1. I also tried activating the main BeTheme & again, tried adding the CSS and got the same result. I even tried activating a different theme & then activated the BeTheme Child back again, same result.
Any help resolving this issue as quickly as possible would be GREATLY appreciated.

Hi,
Where are you editing your custom CSS code? Do you do it through Appearance -> Theme File Editor or through Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS?
Best regards
Yes, that's exactly where I'm adding the custom code. I've add code there many, many times without any issues. This morning, I need to add a little more code & when I hit update, ALL the code was gone. This issue goes for every website I manage using the BeTheme, which are on different servers.
Just to update you on this issue, this problem is NOT just limited to this one server. I have the BeTheme installed on a different website that IS ON a totally different server. I went into the theme options, down to the Custom CSS & I added a line of code, hit update & ALL OF THE CODE was completely gone! I went a step further & tested this once again on another totally different site hosted on a different server & I got the exact same problem.
I added the code here - Theme options -> Custom CSS & JS -> CSS
Go to Betheme -> System status, and ensure that your server meet theme requirements. Especially check max input vars. If the value is to low, you must contact your hosting provider to increase it.
Best regards
Thank you, that worked! Now my next question is how do I get that custom code back? Seems when the code disappeared, it did not effect the websites at all (That I could see anyway). Any way to get that code back??
