Portfolio slider image wrapper width issue under different window sizes and refreshing

Hi Betheme,

I am using portfolio slider to present some book covers. As you can see in the figure:

After I resize the browser window, however, the image wrapper size become larger than the responsive-changed image size:

And sometimes, even if I don't change the browser window size, but just refresh the page arbitrary times, and the same issue occurs.

I know the cause is that my images are not squares, but I don't think this should be an issue for a slider. How to fix this, please?
