Can a theme be edited so that the source name of the theme is changed against the company name?

Hi,
you can change the theme folder name, the rest of the details can be set in the style.css file.
You need to do this before you install the theme, it will not work on a existing installation.

Hello,

I have now renamed my BeThemes folder from "bethemes" to "pixelway", even the child folder, but the source code is still named BeThemes. Does the BeThemes folder have to be unpacked before? Sorry, but somehow I do not get behind. https://prnt.sc/g2jiao

Yes, you have to unzip the folder, change its name and then upload it to the themes folder via FTP

What do you mean it does not work? You do not need a betheme child if you do not make any changes to the theme files.

I never know in advance whether a change to the theme is necessary and be it only a color adjustment.

If then times a new update appears, I would lose yes without a child themes.

This was also a recommendation on a BeThemes tutorial. Unfortunately, I do not know where it comes from.
