Adding Background Image to Menu

Hi,

I found this answer regarding this topic saying it requires custom css and was wondering if you could help me.

The menu background (Home / A Empresa / Fundos / Manuais / Contato) where the color is white/semi transparent - I would like to place a picture in that area.

I want to add this texture to the main header of this website: http://3dasset.com.br/

I want to use this texture in the main header: http://www.3dasset.com.br/home/ivory-off-white-paper-texture-picture-free-photograph-photos/

Should this image follow any specific size parameters to properly fit on the header?
