Can not enter website-pages on server to modify them - fatal error

I need some help.
When we try to enter one of the wordpress-pages on the server to modify the text for example, the following error appears:

Please disable all plugins first.
Do you have a wordpress multisite?

Thanks, that solved the problem.
To me it´s not very logically why I need to disable it.
It´s not intuitiv. But that´s a problem of wordpress.
The user experience of this applications is very bad.
I think I switch back to adobe muse.
