1. I have added FB and Twitter but would like for them to be larger and I want to change the icon color.

2. Any way to move them a but higher on the homepage nav area, closer to the "contact" nav link? Closer to the last nav link.

For the theme nav menu social links (Facebook and twitter) is there a way to open them in a new window instead of leaving the website completely? Thanks!

Oh, sorry I have misunderstood your question. They can open in new tabs, just go to theme options>social and check the first option
