Custom Sidebar background

Dear Be-Theme Team

I got a Sidebar on this site: http://simonrouge.com/news/

Since the sidebar covers all of the background, I want to use a background-picture for the Sidebar (like you do for "normal" pages). How can I manage that? Options like "parrallax" or repeat would also be nice if possible.

No, actually I want to cover the whole "grey" background that appeared since I activated sidebar for the site.I want a Background that is as wide as the slider above.

Thanks! We're getting in the right direction. Now is half of the background covered, how can i change the rest? (see here: http://simonrouge.com/news/)

And second: whats the css if I wonna use an image from my media library (not just "blue")?

I want the picture to cover the whole background (also on the left side from the blog, wich is still white)

Please make a screenshot of the whole page and mark where exactly do you want the background to be.

The right side is good. But the Left is still white. I want the whole background to be covered with one Image

Sorry but the left side is not possible to color, it would also apply the background to the content, so everything will have this background.
