Show title of portfolio items in portfolio grid on hover

Is it possible to show up titles on hover for portfolio items in portfolio grid?

Well, I even would like to show titles of portfolio items instead of showing icons for "zoom", "link" and "forward" on hover. I use "Resume" pre-built website layout, if it helps understand what I am asking about.

Hi,
the featured images hover effect can be changed in theme options>global>general and change it under the image frame style.

Under theme options>global>general > image frame style there is no option for showing exactly title, not icons. Is it possible to show titles of portfolio items instead of icons by customizing css?

There are only those option there, sorry but there is nothing more. Sorry but this is not possible with css.

I added portfolio element via the Muffinbuilder. In Betheme > Theme Options > Blog & Portfolio > Portfolio I set title on hover to ON.

However, so far it does not work, so I guess I am doing something wrong.

Hi,

Please go to Theme Options > Global > General

There will be Image Frame options, change the style of it to overlay
