Hi,

The website you showed above is not created with our theme. But if you want to make something similar you must to use "Section" item with background image and background image position. And inside this section you must put some html with text and button shortcode. We got something similar on our splash page http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/ where is "Improve BE with us! ..." text. Take a look on this image http://snag.gy/Lr48X.jpg to see how we did it. Inside "Column" item we put below html code:

Thanks for the suggestion I have implemented what I have said in my www.tierreservice.it site, but would like to know how to change the font, color and size.

You need to use styles locally, ex:

<p style="font-size: 20px; color: #000; font-family: 'font-name';">Improve ...</p>

and this must be done for each element where you want to change those things.

But what this supposed to be? We got something similar on each page at the top and this is called subheader where title and breadcrumbs are. You can see it on any subpage, like for example http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/portfolio or also you can try to play with Fancy heading, like http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/shortcodes/content-elements#fancyheading

This is subheader and of course you can check his color with below css:

#Subheader { background-color: #000; }

and I can also change the color of font and positioning of "who we are" so as to make it look like the example that I posted before?

Yes, you can with below css:

#Subheader .title { width: 100%; text-align: center; color: #000; }
#Subheader ul.breadcrumbs { display: none; }

but breadcrumbs must be removed of course.
