remove sub header black bar under menu

How do I remove the black bar under menu?

I have layer slider used on the other pages but these are news post and I dont need anything there.

It's Subheader. You can remove it under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Subheader section.

Hi the above solution didn't worked so I fixed it through CSS by updating the header min-height from 315 px to 100%

I have the same problem, I've disabled the subheader but I still see this black row below the menu, please help.
