Adding Category Descriptions and Widgets

Hello!

Please how i can add category description?

I try edit category descr but don't see on category pages.

I would also like to enable the left column widgets in the categories, but I do not, have added and does not work, only in the posts.

    Hello,
    the sidebar on the category pages is copied from them main blog page.
    The descriptions should work on category pages. Have you set the blog properly?
    Please go to settings>reading and set the posts page as your main blog page.
