Google Doesn't recognize SEO contents using YOAST in BeTHEME

Hi there,

I'm in trouble with SEO contents in all of our BE Theme sites.

We've installed BE Theme and then use SEO Yoast plugin.

We've put all the SEO contents at their place in YOAST Fields for each page (Tiltles, meta description, keywords).

We've leave BeTheme build-in SEO fields empty and we've turned OFF the "Use built-in SEO fields" in the Muffin Options section.

We've tried in different ways but even metadata seemd to be written in the pages, Google doesn't recognize these information ad not display them at all.

Is there any setting in order to let YOAST works well with BE Theme?

We actually use YOAST with other sites and themes and all has always gone fine.

We looking forward to hearing from you very soon.

We've to report this situation to our customers.

So I've to use "Builder SEO" in my content editor (and use "Hide Content") in order to let the SEO contents visibile for YOAST? Is it correct?

One futher question: if I use "Builder SEO" option, my content editor will be replaced. How I can do in order not to loose contents I've inserted with the "Content WP" shortcode?

If you have content already in default wordpress editor then this should be visible for Yoast. And if is not, then we really have no idea what exactly could be the problem.

Hi, I think @eprintmonza means if they have put in content with the "Content WP" muffin builder item then the content would be replaced by the Builder >> SEO and no longer show in the Content WP" muffin builder item. I have this issue too for some of my posts.

Hi, I've updated all the contents using Builder >> SEO but the meta data (Meta description, Keywords ecc)of YOAST aren't correctly displayed in Google search results. It seems like Google finds other contents like the information in the site topbar but not theYOAST SEO contents.

Don't you think that this could be Google issue? Did you checked if html code of your website displays properly? Because if in code everything is fine then this could be crawling bots problem.

Hi, it seems that the meta datas are displayed in the code...but we have the same problem...they're not correctly displayed. I don't think is a Google issue because the same think happens with Yahoo and Bing...could you please check? Our site is on: www.dvloop.it

As you can see on http://snag.gy/wCZJ5.jpg meta tags like description are properly in the code so we have no idea why Google gives you other instead. Tags has been created in accordance to best seo practices what you can see in the code.

Hi guys,
I'm having the same problem. I'm using Yoast SEO & Betheme. The meta data is showed correctly in the code, but are not displayed in Google. This occurs on all pages. The meta description is displayed in the page source code. Your last reply is dated on february 2015, maybe you have some new insights on this matter?

I hope you can tell me how to fix this problem.

@Swif This was sorted long time ago and now everything is fine between Yoast and BeTheme and we are 10000% sure about it. If everything is fine in code, you need to wait until Google bots will crawl your site and refresh it in their indexes because on this we has no impact.

I'm in the same case as @Swif, I disconnected the SEO option in BeTheme but my meta description still ain't showing.

I am waiting to see also. Am confused as well. Google is not finding my pages. only my old page: "coming soon" is being picked up. I don't put my text in the muffin builder because I find the wordpress builder is more user friendly. I only put the H1 in the muffin builder. Does this affect my SEO?

@fayamatt Do you use external SEO plugin or what? What's the link of page which does not have description?

@imajn2 Make sure you did not enabled Discourage search engines from indexing this site option under Settings > Reading section.

Yes I use Yoast SEO. As the meta weren't showing I went to

Appearance > BeTheme Options > SEO > Use built-in fields > turned it off.

I understand, I know it's in the code.

But the meta description in Google display the text instead of the meta description put in Yoast SEO

@fayamatt But did you saw that you have 2x description? If you will look at the bottom of the screenshot we previously sent, you will see that there is another description and another keywords that came with the Yoast plugin. Just take a look at http://pasteboard.co/rOgwNEegM.png and see how it looks like. So please remove one of them and leave just one description. Also, please notice that we have an impact on what's in the code and we can not be responsible for what Google is taking exactly into their ranking.

Ok Solved, a friend explained it to me today.

Just clear everything in

Appearance > BeTheme Options > SEO

Use build in fields > OFF

Meta Description > "nothing"

Meta Keywords > "nothing"

Cause if you put something there, Google take it as the meta description and keywords for every pages, posts on you site. Easy enough, just keep this 2 fields empty
