Client wants a minimalist feel, wants to make logo in header disappear

My client wants a "minimalist header look" so I tried to remove existing client logo in the header but the default betheme logo appears. So what i did was replace it with a rectangular box with the same shade as the header so that the existing logo will disappear, achieving the minimalist header look clients wants.
But when you visit the Contact Us page, you can see an extra dark /black green line showing under the logo and it doesn't look clean. Also, this extra line is not seen when you open other pages. Only in Contact Us page.
How can you resolve this issue and achieve my client's request?

a good idea would be to create a small (1x1 px) image in PNG that is transparent. Or use this css
