Standard Operating Procedure for Wordpress update available?
Hi,
I had lot of trouble during the last WP update to 4.9. I’d like to ask you, if
there is any Standard Operating Procedure existing how to manage an WP update on the own website.
For
example, what should I do, if installed third party PlugIns have not been
updated to the newest Wordpress version. Are they still useable with the old Wordpress version until they have been updated by their author?.
And
which sequence I should use for updating Wordpress, BeTheme and PlugIns?
What
about the BackUps of the website if they have been stored under the old WP version.
I’d
like to avoid a website crash when the next wordpress update is coming. Then I
don’t need your support and you can save time :-).
Thanks for your advice.
Regards Peter

Sorry but all fo these question should be targeted to the wordpress authors. We cannot do anything about how wordpress works, we can only addapt to the changes and modify the theme so it can work properly with the newest versions.
thanks
