On our searchpage we get the following notice:

Notice: wpdb::prepare was called incorrectly. The query does not contain the correct number of placeholders (1) for the number of arguments passed (2). This message was added in version 4.8.3.) in /<path>/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4145.

The call stack specifies it coming from the wpdb query in betheme/functions/theme-functions.php:1941

Sadly, I don't have an online example for you to view, since we disable all notices on production sites.

Hey,
this looks like a wordpress error. We suggest reinstalling your wordpress.

That doesn't seem to do the trick. Are you entirely sure? The callstack reports it comes from betheme. Do note that in WP 4.8.3 the way $wpdb::prepare() works changed.
