  And, for what it's worth, I originally had the font names with spaces instead of dashes (per the instructions), but that did the same thing.

  We were hoping to see the theme options>fonts>family page.
  Make sure that you do not have any subsets inserted in the field. See screen:

  Nothing selected or entered in the Google Fonts section. (I removed the dashes from the previous screen shot.)

  And this is what shows in Chrome:

  For what it's worth, it shows Cachet+Bold when I use a space in the font name, or Cachet-Bold when I use a dash.

  The font name you set in the custom font section can be anythign you like, you do not have to name it accordingly.

  Okay but we checked your code and the font is properly set everywhere. What is the problem then ?

  It's trying to load a resource that doesn't exist. That's bad web development and adds additional loading time that is unnecessary. If this can be fixed in a future update, I'd appreciate it.

  We checked everything and it seems like some plugin is trying to load this font and cannot. Check it by disabling all plugins.

  Thanks for your help. You were right that it was related to a plugin. I never considered that possibility because I'm not loading any fonts with the plugin, but they confirmed that there is a bug when loading custom fonts externally.
  
  If anyone is having a similar issue, the problem stemmed from the MaxButtons plugin.
  
  I appreciate the help!
