Enable comments on Wordpress media

The commenting on Wordpress media files are turned on by default, but BeTheme seems to not have a function to enable / disable this. My presumption is that the team has removed this function entirely for BeTheme. Is this correct ?

If Yes, how do I go about enabling the comments back ? If possible, using a snippet I could include into my child's functions.php.

Hi,

which option are you talking about? We got an option for comments but for posts only and this option is available under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog section. Except that option, we do not limited anything.

Hey guys,

I'm having the same problem.

The comments are on in Wordpress and BeTheme settings but I don't see and comments section, only this text: "Comments are closed."

Hey Asaf,
there are three places you need to enable comments,
1. settings>disscussion
2. theme options>blog,portfolio&shop> blog or portfolio
3. when you edit the post or single portfolio you also have the disscussion option at the bottom. If you do not see it, please open screen options and enable it ( screen: http://prntscr.com/hfrgg5 )

You can clearly see that there is a message "comments are closed"
Please check these places again, you must have disabled it somewhere.

Ok, found the problem, I had it set to close the comments after 28 days, and my posts were older.....
