youtube embeds

i can't seem to get a youtube embed to work in the theme. I have tried using the embed code, using wpbalery and muffin builder. doing it as code, as html as a video player and it does not seem to be working. i can't figure out what the problem is.

Hi,
please make sure your are pasting the youtube ID into the field and not the full link.

i did that using the id. i also tried using the iframe embed code which is what you see on the page curently.

You are pasting the iframe in <pre></pre> tags. Remove them.

sorry but i am not understanding what you are saying. I have tried multiple methods. I have inserted as code and as text. also the video player is not working either. If you could take a look at the backend it would be appreciated.

It is working now, you just have been pasting the iframe code into the visual mode, not the text editor.
