Child Theme not working

Hi I have installed the latest version of BeTheme and I have also uploaded a child theme as I want to use a child stylesheet. I am aware I can use the new built-in css editor but I would rather use my own stylesheet. However the theme is not picking up my child theme css. I have tried a few declarations to test it and nothing is being picked up please can you advise.

    Hi,
    Please make sure that you have the child theme active, then you should be able to make changes in the child theme style.css file.

    OK so my child theme does work but the theme is caching the css so all the changes I make in development don't show. Is there a way to turn off caching? Is it part of the theme because I have emptied the cache for the browser and even tried a new browser and still my changes aren't coming through.

    PLease ignore. The hosting company I have this with has some auto cache set up which I have now switched off.All now working.
