Dark blue area on top of first BeParallax screen

Hello!

I activated the BeParallax demo content and for some reason I have a big dark blue area on top of the picture of the first screen you see on the landing page:

I just can't find out where to remove it?

This dark blue / black stripe is appearing, no matter which menu I choose in the Options Menu. However, I did not change anything in the layout of the landing page that would prompt it to appear.

Hi,
just go to theme options>header and change the minimalist option to 'minimalist without header space.
