Menu color or background on single post

Hi guys,

First of all, I'm a very happy user of betheme with multiple installations. Unfortunately I'm running into a customization question I don't seem to be able to fix. The theme is based on the demo 'hiphop', but heavily modified after installation ofcourse.

Now, the problem is with the background of the (main) menu. It is configured to be transparent, because on all of the pages there's an image behind it. But, on the single blog post there's no background image, the background is white and with the menu still transparent, you can't see the menu. Since the CSS for the menu is the same on all of the pages (and blog posts) I can't find an option to get a different background color on the single blog post.

Do you have any solution to fix this?

Many thanks in advance, regards,
Niels

  • Hi,
Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co
    thanks
  • Hi guys,

sorry for have leaving this request unreplyed, I got other priorities but would like to continue this again.

The menu at the normal pages is fine, it's configured as transparent and we use a photo as backgrond. See following link for an example:
    http://vollezaalproducties.nl/geheugendief/

When creating blog posts (news items), they don't want to use a photo as background. This results in the menu being transparent (from betheme options) and the text in the menu being white, which makes it not readable.
See following link for an example:
    http://vollezaalproducties.nl/2017/11/18/trailer-buiten-de-grenzen/

So I'm looking for an option where I can adjust the menu to not be transparent on the single blog post pages, or have the text be a different color than on the other pages.

Thank you in advance, best regards,
    Niels

  • The best sollution for this would be to use layouts,
    http://prntscr.com/i74iji
This way you could set global settings to make all pages look like blog posts and then use layouts for single pages.
    thanks
