Customising the sidebar

Dear BeTheme team,

I have created a sidebar that I want to use only for all my blog post.
I have set it for this purpose, but the sidebar appear at the bottom of my blog post text (see screenshot).
Do you know why this happens?

I have another question. I changed the sidebar background to a colour but I wanted to created a floated sidebar, where the background colour wouldn't run until the edge of my window. I also do not know if it is possible to have transition between each block (I want to separate the sidebar elements by having a divider which has the same colour as the blog background).
This sound really confusing but I have made a screenshot to simplify my thought:

If you look at the bottom of the blog post, you will find the sidebar

Please take a look at your custom css because when I disabled it, the sidebar went back to normal.

Is it possible to make the sidebar disappear for tablet and mobile?
