Text appearing at top of Category List

I've read a few discussions dealing with an aspect of this but my situation is a little different. I have a blog and I've set it up to use a specific page (Settings --> Reading). My situation though deals with a large amount of categories for pages that deal with hall of fame athletes (year inducted, sport they played). I've tagged each player page with multiple categories. The problem is that although the category page lists players in that category properly, the first person's listing appears as a paragraph above the rest of the listings. See (http://www.landowebdev.com/sshof/category/sports/baseball/). Once again, this **isn't** my blog which is (http://www.landowebdev.com/sshof/news/). In the end I want the category listing pages act exactly like the blog listing. Please tell me this is possible :) I've been also trying to hack the files but can't find which one deals with the listing pages. Thank you!!
