Easy Click update doesnt work

HI. the update doesnt work. every time i have to re-download the theme, and ftp in. It takes me a long time because im a noob and id love to have this be a lot easier. it takes me hours to figure out how to do this and I dont have this kind of time. there has to be an easier way..... what am i doing wrong?

please tell us what happens when you try to update the theme from your dashboard. Can you attach screenshots?

cant upload screenshot for some reason, but here is what i see on godaddy

They are telling me its a you issue, not a them issue

this message could mean that your license key is used on more than one domain.
Please use this tool to manage your license keys:

That makes perfect sense. I registered the code under my wordpress staged site. I'm seeing that on my account summary. When I moved the stage site over to the primary site, it looks like thats where my problem is.

How do I undo the registration on the stage site and move the license over to the production site without losing my site or any of my data?

I should also note that I followed the instructions in the article you sent me, but i cant deregister the code because the staged site no longer exists, and it wont let me do it via my current site dashboard

The API tool was created especially for people who removed their betheme and cannot deregister it thru the panel. So if you do not have the theme installed then you can deregister it thru the api tool.

License registration has nothing to do with the site integrity or content.
