Featured image replaced by revolution slider when added.

Hello,

The featured image for my blog post seems to be replaced when I add my 'news' revolution slider, is there a way to solve this?

Also, can the title be moved to either the center of the page or below the featured image?

Thanks

  • Hi,
Please always attach a link so we can check it out. If the page is offline(localhost) then our help will be limited, you will have to contact us when the page is online. Also please make sure that the page is not under maintenance before you provide us the link.
It is always a good idea to also attach a screenshot, for that use services like snag.gy or pasteboard.co
    thanks
  • This is when a slider is not selected https://snag.gy/lXL6To.jpg

This is how it looks when a slider is added in the layout section https://snag.gy/pj1NB4.jpg

As you can also see, the title is to the left and above the image.

We would prefer centralised and below the feature image.

    Thanks
  • This is normal for blog posts, if you want to have both then please use a RS shortcode and paste it into the single post.
    thanks
  • Hi,

Thanks for the reply... what we are after is the slider going in the usual spot for sliders (the black area below the menu on the first picture).

Not as it appears in picture 2.

If we use an RS shortcode, which location will it appear?

    Cheers
  • If you do not want this black area (header space) to appear then please go to theme options>header and change the minimalist option.
Is this what you were asking?
    cheers
  • Hi, that does look better- thanks!
